I’ve said it before, and by gosh, I’ll say it again — don’t be afraid to toot your own horn.

Muddled by the media?

Scared of social?

Baffled by blogging?

The Rural PR Academy is a six-month investment in your business that will teach you the basics of public relations, so that next tourist season, you can hit the ground running.

Enrolling now for October, it's designed specifically with small, independent tourism and food & drink businesses in mind and we'll make sure we take you through the basics with online resources and monthly consultations, to ensure you're comfortable with the work we're doing.

We have a package to suit every business and budget.

The course is split into six modules which are accessible across all memberships, with additional support that includes a one-to-one Skype consultation per month to make sure you're on track with the coursework and for "grow" members, there's an opportunity to hit the ground running and respond directly to journalists who are looking for information for an article.

Previous Academy members have been featured in The Times, Landlove Magazine and NFU Countryside.

Additionally, we set up a Facebook group specifically for Academy members to not only share links to content and blogs, but to encourage our rural tourism community to grow and support each other.

By the end of the course, you'll have a full PR strategy in place that covers our unique formula: traditional PR, digital PR, social media, collaborations and visitor experience.

If, however, you'd like a bit more support, find out more about our PR packages.

We also offer one off traingin sessions in everythign from social media to media relations in our media services.
