Megan Allen - Founder and Tourism PR Specialist

As well as training as a senior journalist and accredited PR practitioner, Megan has worked in tourism and hospitality from the age of 16, collecting almost every badge you can get - from working as an "underwater ceramics technician" to senior management level and her pint-pulling skills are renowned across the land. Or Oakham, at least.

Combined with the blessing or curse that is blue-sky thinking, she's actually a pretty handy person to have as part of your team as she's brimming with ideas and the enthusiasm to boot.

When she’s not writing about rural tourism, she’s living it and Megan spends a lot of time travelling the UK, searching for ideas and hunting out the best visitor experiences for her website The Rural Travel Guide.
There really is no one better to put in charge of your tourism PR.

Faith Young - Copywriter & PR support

Faith Young is a copywriter with experience of the tourism industry spanning over two decades.

Faith's career path also included working for a daily newspaper where she honed her copywriting skills and her ability to stick to deadlines.

Living on the Yorkshire Coast means Faith has first hand experience of many challenging aspects of 'the holiday trade'.

Outside of work, Faith is a keen runner, a definite foodie and loves helping businesses succeed with the help of her skills set.

Faith has written for a number of tourism-related publications, both in print and online.

Lagertha - Head of Wellbeing & mischief
- Printer monitor

Hailing from Peterborough, Lagertha has not let her urban roots affect the quality of her work, taking quickly to the countryside from around the age of 13-weeks.

She heads up wellbeing and mischief at Rural Roots HQ, often getting herself into a pickle to both the amusement and disdain of the rest of the team…

She also takes pride in inspecting everything that is printed in the office, occasionally chewing over the results.
